All new adult members aged over 25 years join the Club as a Full Member or as a University Academic Member where applicable. At the discretion of the Management Council the entrance fee may be paid over 3 years by 3 annual payments of £330.

SHORT-TERM MEMBERS (UP TO 3 YEARS)
This class of membership is open to those who are working or studying in the Cambridge area for a period no greater than three years. Such members are required to pay annually a proportion of the Entrance Fee as Short-term Members, as well as the Full Subscription, but if permanent membership is subsequently sought, due to a change in circumstances, only the balance of the full Entrance Fee will then be payable. Before any applicant is accepted for this category of Membership, the Club's Management Council has to be satisfied of the genuineness of the applicant's assertion that he or she will be in the district for no more than 3 years. The Entrance Fee is currently fixed at £900 and the proportion payable for 2011/12 is one ninth, ie, £100.
