Gog Magog is a fantastic club for juniors to join, learn and enter the world of golf.

We have structured golf memberships and coaching to encourage all children to participate regardless of age, ability or gender.

As well as individual lessons, coaching offers include

Saturday morning junior sessions -  an enjoyable and productive way for children to enter, explore and improve their game of golf. The sessions have an emphasis on learning through enjoyment, games and forming friendships. Each week we will cover one of the following: Putting, Chipping (short game), Pitching, Irons and Woods

Junior Playing Groups - These are designed to introduce and encourage juniors to play more golf on our wonderful courses. We hope by doing so they improve their skills, get to know other juniors at the club and be more inclined to regularly meet up for social games of golf and eventually enter competitions and reduce their handicaps.

The Gogs Girls Scholarship-This initiative was launched a few years ago and has proved to be a great success with many girls participating in weekly sessions. The aim of the girls’ scholarship is to promote more girls aged 6-16 playing golf regularly by offering free group coaching sessions to all girls regardless of golf experience.

The Gogs Practice Club -The Gogs ‘Practice Club’ that is open to any child aged up to 18. These sessions will encourage juniors to dedicate time to practicing their skills and technique.

Advanced Game Improvers Group - We have had a lot of juniors’ progress through various coaching channels throughout the years at the club and are now of a standard where they have a competitive handicap and are able to enter competitions. For these juniors, new skills, methods and teaching techniques are required for them to improve further. For this reason, the advanced game improver class which will be for all juniors who possess a handicap of 25 and below

After School Club -  “The Gogs After School Club” gives juniors the opportunity to stay engaged with their golf after the school day. The sessions include Group coaching on a variety of areas of the game as well as fun games with the aim to include a wide range of ages and standards so all can enjoy their golf.

Easter and Summer Camps -  Half day sessions These aim to develop all areas of the participants golf game and cover putting, short game, full swing and on course sessions in a fun environment and includes coaching, playing and games to challenge and engage in the learning process.
